Positive Energy Boosts PNM with Solar Power
When it comes to clean energy in New Mexico, nothing beats the Sun! Today, PNM along with Sandia National Labs and Positive Energy brings the future of green power on line with the pioneering Prosperity Energy Storage project. This 500 kW system supplies energy to power 126 homes.

Albuquerque, NM September 24, 2011: PNM chose Positive Energy, Inc. as the installer for its 500 kW
“smart-grid” project, following a successful working relationship founded in 2006 with the installation of
PNM’s Algodones solar array. Positive Energy’s offices in Albuquerque and Santa Fe service all of PNM’s territory.
Founded in 1997, PE has installed over 500 solar electric systems statewide, employs 50 solar professionals,
and holds the highest certifications for solar professionals in New Mexico.
